Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi’s recently announced Ameliea Dulaney, Marketing & Communications Manager, has been selected to participate in GivingTuesday’s inaugural Community Campaign Accelerator cohort. The Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi is among thirty-six community foundations and their affiliates across Alabama, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee chosen for the three-year capacity building program designed to strengthen civic engagement and collective giving across the South. Dulaney will be one of eighteen individual participants representing thirty-six foundations in her specific cohort.
The selection of Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi comes at a time when Northwest Mississippi and the Mississippi Delta face persistent poverty, limited access to resources, and a need for stronger local networks to support youth, education, and food security. Through participation in GivingTuesday’s Community Campaign Accelerator program, the Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi will be better equipped to address local needs through additional community engagement efforts and collective giving initiatives. The full list of cohort members is available on GivingTuesday’s website.
